A saving knight for damsel’s cry,
On wars I fought I have not shy,
I bled to death to rule them all,
I’m not enough, they said it all.
The summer sun it fails to drench,
The darkest night it fails to faint,
I’m more than brave to tell their tales,
I’m not enough, I can’t prevail.
The cowards flee but I remained,
The losers left but I sustained,
The victors crown I won them all,
To be enough, but not at all.
But then you come, all eyes have seen,
My little worth and luck have change,
More than a badge or kingly crown,
You say “I am enough” to be your own.
